Asymptomatic passengers and visitors coming to Bohol will not be required to present valid coronavirus disease-2019 (Covid-19) vaccination cards or certificates starting September 21 this year.

This was mandated by under an Executive Order (EO) No. 32 issued by Gov. Aris Aumentado on September 21.

Asymptomatic is producing or showing no symptoms.

Inbound travelers exhibiting symptoms shall be required to present their vaccination cards but shall be allowed entry nevertheless.

If the traveler could not present a vaccination card shall be advised to seek medical intervention and required to disclose his/her personal details and point of destination for possible contact tracing.

“With the ongoing mass vaccination program of the national government and local government units (LGUS). It has been observed that the number of Covid-19 cases is no longer as high as it was at the start of the pandemic and certain provinces no longer require the presentation of vaccination cards or certificate of vaccination for inbound travelers,” Aumentado said in his order.

Relaxing the entry protocol to Bohol is the way of stimulating the local economy and start the march to economic recovery, Aumentado added.
