The provincial government of Bohol recently hosted Rayu Changwoo, the special representative of Daegu City.
Both local governments are planning to enter into a cultural exchange cooperation through their respective festivals – Bohol’s Sandugo Festival and Daegu’s Powerful Festival.
Earlier, the provincial government invited Daegu City’s performing groups to come to Bohol to hold a series of artistic renditions this month.
A delegation of dancers, K-Pop stars, and cultural leaders is slated to visit Bohol from August 26-30, 2022.
In exchange, Daegu City had extended its invitation to the PGBh to send a 10-man VIP delegation to visit the city in South Korea in September.
The visit will serve as an opportunity for both local governments to promote warm ties and cooperation in the areas of cultural exchange, tourism, and investments. (PR)
