Governor Aris Aumentado has called on every peace-loving Boholano to be always watchful over the series of robbery in past weeks by still unknown perpetrators who have preyed in hapless victims.
“Pls. be vigilant naay mga grupong tulisan naa sa ato karon nangita ug biktimahon,” the governor said. (Please be vigilant since there are groups who are looking for victims).
“Akong gimando-an ang PNP nga i priority ang pag sulbad sa mga kasong tulis. Dapat sa madaling panahon ato na ma address ni nga problema aron d na modaghan pa,” Aumentado said in his fb post recently.
(I already ordered the police to give priority of this. It’s necessary that these will be addressed to prevent them from committing crime).
“Report dayon sa otoridad ug duna moy mga hinala or kaduda-duda lihok nga mahibaw-an.” (Aumentado urged everyone to immediately report if there are suspected movement).
On Saturday (July 23, 2022), reports said that three armed suspects waylaid a cargo truck with four males and took away P180,000.00.
The robbery took place in barangay Aguipo, Mabini, Bohol.
The perpetrators used two motorcycles, black Kawasaki Bajaj and blue-black Skygo Euro ang guns.
The report said that this was the eight in a series of robbery in past days. (rvo)
