For President Ferdinand Marcos Jr’s first State of the Nation Address (Sona), Bohol 3rd district Rep. Alexie Besas-Tutor wore a white modern day Filipiniana, and she looked absolutely stunning.
The purple Filipiniana was designed by Bohol-based designer Noel Bompat Estopito.
“Purplish, ube-colored depicting our ube kinampay of Bohol. Banig-inspired Filipiniana with its intricate work of labor shows as well the intricacies of being a public servant,” said Tutor.
“Thank you for this fabulous & unique creation,” Tutor thanked Estopito.
The 19th Congress of the Philippines officially started on Monday.
“With the message of President BBM filled with so much hope and direction for the Filipinos, we, the legislators will support his leadership,” said Tutor.
“Salamat Tersero sa inyong maka bungog na suporta arun maka padayon ko sa akong ikaduhang termino sa panerbisyo. Kumbati Tersero,” she said.
