She also announced that Congresswoman Kristine Alexie Besas Tutor has poured and facilitated the funding for renovation of two public markets (in San Roque and Poblacion).

She bared that the personnel of the Department Public Works and Highways engineering district have already inspected the two public markets. She said this is very important to increase the income of these markets where the people sell their produce.

She called on her constituents to work together and not “waiver” for she cannot do it alone.

She also thanked Tutor for seemed to be a never-ending backing for her administration. Congresswoman Tutor gave her inspirational message of encouragement for all the townsfolk to rally Mayor Lim’s administration.

Caberte emphasized three elements of public service that must be carried out. These are the integrity, competence and professionalism.

Senior Board member Tita V. Baja of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan relayed the message of hope and inspiration from Gov. Aris Aumentado, who was not around the celebration.

Among those who are present during the celebration held at the town’s gym are former town mayor Stephen Rances, Vice-Mayor Myra Fostanes Colis, the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, the barangay officials and the townsfolk. (rvo)
