The Commission on Elections (Comelec) Board of Canvassers (BOC) in Bohol proclaimed on Tuesday, May 10, Vanessa Aumentado as the new representative of the second district of Bohol.
Aumentado, who will be serving as the first woman representative, thanked the residents for their support.
“Daghang salamat segundo distrito sa inyong makabungog nga pagsalig ug pag supporta. It’s an honor to become the First ever woman House Representative in the Second District of Bohol,” she said in a statement.
“Akong isaad nga serbisyong Tatak Aumentado akong ika-alagad,” she added.
Aumentado garnered 138,266 votes against Jaja Jumamoy who had 92,728 votes.
