The Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) is endorsing reelectionist Gov. Arthur Yap in the May 9 elections.
The INC leadership is expected to announce this officially with just six days left before Election Day.
With around 2 million voting members, INC churchgoers are expected to follow the church leaders’ choice of candidates when they vote.
In a Facebook post, Yap thanked the church for the endorsement.
“Daghang salamat sa atong kaigsuonan sa Iglesia Ni Cristo sa inyong pag endorso kanako sa pagpasubli isip Gobernador sa Lalawigan sa Bohol,” Yap said in his Facebook post.
