5 villages in Bohol now drug-free

Five barangays in Bohol province have been declared “drug-free” based on the latest data from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

The PDEA Central Visayas said the Regional Oversight Committee convened thru a blended face-to-face and online deliberation of Central Visayas barangays that applied for drug-cleared status.

The oversight committee unanimously approved the declaration of five barangays from Barangay Cantam-is Baslay and Taytay from Loon town, Barangay Genonacan from Tubigon town, Barangay Lapacan Norte from Inabanga town, and Barangay Lungsodaan of Candijay town.

PDEA Bohol Provincial Office together with the officers of the said barangays and other stakeholders attended the deliberation via Zoom.
