111 reported dead due to Odette in Bohol

Reported death toll due to Typhoon Odette rose to 111, the provincial government of Bohol reported.

In its situation report as of Tuesday noon,, said they have confirmed 11 fatalities and are validating 247 reported deaths.

There are also 5 persons reported as missing, the Capitol added.

Ubay and Talibon reported the most deaths with 14 fatalities each, followed by Bien Unido and Loon with 7, San Miguel and Pres. Carlos P. Garcia with six deaths each.

Deaths were also reported in Inabanga, Catigbian, Getafe, Buenavista and Alicia.

Odetteā€™s powerful winds destroyed thousands of houses and toppled electric posts in areas along its path, resulting in losing power and mobile signal.
