The Calape Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils (MDRRMCs) conducted a massive preemptive evacuation on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021 as Severe Tropical Storm “Odette” (international name: Rai) is nearing Bohol province.
Personnel of Calape Fire Station said that Calape Fire Station and Calape Police Station helped in the evacuation.
About 260 individuals from Mantatao Island in Calape were transferred to evacuation centers at mainland Calape.
