Senior Board Member Dionisio Victor Balite revealed Tuesday that a Capitol official is receiving money from a “ripa” admin.
In a privilege speech during the regular session at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Balite said a Capitol official is receiving at least P5 million from a “ripa” admin he identified only as one Liezel Libransa as a protection money.
However, Balite didn’t identify the official, saying that he was not in the position of identifying the provincial government functionary.
He did not mention the frequency of giving the money.
Balite’s privilege speech stunned the members of the provincial board after the Capitol recognized the members of the Provincial Legal Office (PLO) for documenting the complaints of the “ripa” victims who lined up at the Bohol Wisdom School last month.
The recognition was made during the 125th CPG Day last Nov. 4.
Balite, who is running for vice-governor and runningmate of 2nd district Aris Aumentado for the gubernatorial elections next year, moved that his privilege speech be referred to the SP appropriate committee.
