Dauis Mayor Marietta Sumaylo together with her husband Josever Sumaylo, on Monday October 4, filed their certificates of candidacy for vice mayor and mayor, respectively.
Both are running under National Unity Party.
Marietta, who is on her last term, serves as president of the League of the Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) – Bohol chapter.
Josever is the Liga ng Barangay president in Dauis.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr on Friday, June 28, led the distribution of various government aid to farmers, fishermen, and families in Bohol province affected by the El Niño phenomenon during a program at the Pres. Carlos P. Garcia Sports Complex in Tagbilaran City.
