Operatives of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) fugitive search unit and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) – Bohol arrested an American fugitive wanted in the United States for violating his probation.
Paul Franklin Guzock, 64, was arrested on Monday afternoon (Sept. 20, 2021) in Barangay Union in Dauis town.
Guzock is an overstaying alien and does not possess a valid travel document, the BI said.
BI said a mission order for the foreigner’s arrest was based on the request of the US government.
Guzock told the operatives that he didn’t hurt anybody.
Guzock is being held at the NBI detention facility in Tagbilaran City pending the issuance of a deportation order by the BI Board of Commissioners.
The BI said Guzock would be blacklisted and banned from re-entering the Philippines.
