After almost a year, the Bamboo Park in Bilar town has reopened its doors to tourists again after quarantine restrictions were relaxed.

Lovely Anzano, proprietor of the Bamboo Park, said that tourists would be allowed to visit the place starting Sept. 18.

She said its reopening is to revive the economy affected by the pandemic.

“This is to revive the local economy,” said Anzano.

The Bamboo Park is located in Barangay Villa Aurora. It is a few meters from the Loboc Tarsier Conservation Area which is still close.

The Bamboo Place offers a garden with leatherette white, heart-shaped anthurium and plastic sunflowers in its one-hectare property. At night, lights would flood the place to color and illuminate the flowers and the area.

Anzano said they added “bahay kubo” for transient or those who want to stay.

New amenities will be added soon in the place, she added.

Village councilor Romie Balensuhi said the reopening of Bamboo Park will help locals to work.

Tourists bound for Bohol Island are required to submit a negative Covid-19 swab test results taken within 72 hours before their arrival and the S-Pass travel management system from the local government.
