A 3.4 earthquake has been felt in Loay and neighboring towns tonight, Sept. 13, 2021.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported the quake at 7:34 p. m. , with a depth of 0.15 km, within 11km east of Loay.
It was also felt in Carmen town.
Phivolcs said the earthquake was tectonic in origin, which means the tremor was caused by the movement of an active fault near the area.
