At least 163 more Covid-19 cases were reported in this province on Sunday (August 29), raising its active number of infections to 1,775.
In a COVID-19 bulletin from the provincial government, Tagbilaran City registered 49 new cases followed by San Miguel town with 24 new infections.
Since the pandemic struck last year, a total of 12,870 confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in the province, 265 of which died from the disease.
