Given the ongoing number of infectious cases in the province, the current lockdown will be extended for at least another one week until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 31, Governor Arthur Yap announced on Tuesday.
“The suspension of air and sea travel of passengers bound for Bohol, exluding domestoc air and sea travel of cargoes, shall be extended until Aug. 31,” Yap said in his Executive Order No. 40,
The current lockdown was due to end at 11:59 p. m. on Aug. 20.
However, domestic air and sea travel of cargoes and authorized persons outside residences (APORs) , who are:
a) Health workers on official business;
b) Authorized government officials;
c) Those traveling for medical or humanitarian reasons;
d) Returning Overseas Filipino Workers;
e) Persons providing basic services and public utilities; and
f) Bank personnel and other bank employees who shall come to the province with the purpose of replenishing the cash funds and other supplies which are necessary for the continuous service of the different banks.
Outbound travel from Bohol shall continue subject to quarantine protocols of destination LGU.
