A quick response from Guindulman Fire Station firefighters kept a grass fire spreading Thursday afternoon.
The call came in around 12 p.m. for the fire on Barangay Lombog.
According to FO1 Mark Angelo Rizano of the Guindulman Fire Station, the fire burned about 20 hectares.
Firefighters arrived as the wind was picking up.
The fire was contained at around 1:20 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 6.
No one was hurt nor houses destroyed during the incident.
Heath authorities have reported that as of December 9, 2021, vaccination teams in Bohol have reached out to some 382,492 Boholanos who were given the necessary two doses of the Covid vaccines administered at least about a month apart.
Bohol province has recorded another fatality due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
