A newly-identified drug personality was arrested by joint operatives at Barangay Taloto in Tagbilaran City on Tuesday afternoon.
The arrest came after the buy-bust conducted by personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Bohol,Tagbilaran City Police Station and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) – Bohol.
The suspect was identified as Alfred A. Bolacoy, 25, a resident of Barangay Taloto, Tagbilaran City.
Confiscated during the operation were four 4 packs of suspected shabu weighing around 2 grams with an estimated value of P13,600, buy-bust money, one cellular phone, and one motorcycle.
The suspect attempted to escape after sensing he was transacting with law enforces and sped off on his motorcycle but crashed into an incoming tricycle.
The suspect was immediately brought to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries and is currently detained at the Tagbilaran City Police Station.
Cases for violation of Section 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 will be filed against the suspect.
