The Trinidad town hall in Bohol is under temporary lockdown until July 21 after employees contracted Covid-19.
In her Executive Order No. 25, Mayor Judith Cajes said the Trinidad Emergency Management Administration (TEMA) recommended the temporary closure of the town hall after three employees caught Covid-19.
TEMA recommended a granular enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) of the new Trinidad Municipal Hall (TMH) from July 14 to July 21, 2021 to give time for contact tracing, containment of cases and total disinfection of the municipal building and its premises.”
All employees assigned at the new municipal hall were allowed to work from home until further notice.
However, other employees assigned to other municipal buildings were required to work. These are employees from Municipal Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO), Municipal Health Office, old Municipal Hall, Trinidad Municipal College, public markets, Trinidad Cultural Center, Demo Farm, training center, materials recovery facility, residuals containment area, cleaners, Bantay Dagat, Bantay Lasang and Sand and Gravel Enforcers. They were required to report to their respective assignments. They were advised not to use the biometrics for their time-in and time-out and instead they were advised to record their respective attendance in a logbook.
All employees were not allowed to enter the municipal hall during lockdown except the MDRRMO personnel who conduct disinfections.
