Professor Reinerio Augusto Real passed away on Thursday morning, July 8, 2021, his family and friends confirmed.
He was 78.
His family did not reveal the cause of death.
As cultural worker and speech instructor, he was a member of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) – Bohol Council, Bohol-Sandugo Toastmasters Club and Bohol Arts and Cultural Heritage (BACH).
According to Marquis Who’s Who, Real taught English in South Korea. When he returned to the Philippines, he taught English and Speech at University of Bohol (UB). He was appointed as head of the Students Affairs Office.
He was a theater actor as an original member of the Teatro Bol-anon.
He was also a recipient of numerous awards from Junior Chamber of Commerce.
After he retired from UB, he was hired as a consultant, executive assistant and head of the Overseas Filipino Workers Affairs at the Provincial Governor’s Office.
