Licensure examinations for teachers and criminologists will be held in Bohol to lessen costs for graduates from Bohol.

The possibility was reported by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Regional director Narcival Randie Taquiqui who recently visited the province.

Taquiqui visited Gov. Arthur Yap with PRC-7 Chief Administrative Officer Gerdel Bordadora at the Capitol on Monday.

Yap supported the national licensure examination in Bohol as it will be a great help to nearly 3,000 teacher examinees in Bohol and 3,000 criminologist examinees in the region amid the pandemic.

The Capitol is determined to work with the PRC to ensure testing venues and watchers.

The governor and PRC officials also discussed the addition of service to the PRC Satellite Center in Bohol that opened earlier this year at the old Capitol.
