CARMEN, Bohol – The Philippine Army in Bohol through the 47th Infantry Battalion initiated a gift giving activity dubbed as “Kapwa ko Sagot ko” in Barangay Dagohoy, Bilar on May 20, 2021.

The activity was in partnership with the provincial Government of Bohol, Local Government Unit of Bilar, 62nd Special Action Company, PNP and other stakeholders.

The activity was able to provide food packs, slippers, vegetables, hygiene kits, and free haircut to 187 households of Brgy Dagohoy. The items given were donated by the 47IB, PNP, Provincial Government of Bohol and from the private sectors to mention: Globe Telecom Company and Youth For Peace Bohol – San Miguel Chapter. All are in merging efforts to deliver services and basic needs particularly to our brothers and sisters who were affected by the Covid19 pandemic.

The “Kapwa ko Sagot ko” program is highlighting the bayanihan spirit and solidarity amidst the pandemic. Likewise, it aims to encourage other affluent people to give what they have for our impoverished countrymen. This activity is indeed a great help for each household especially that we are facing this pandemic crisis.

Barangay Dagohoy is just one of the barangays to benefit this act of kindness from our benevolent stakeholders and partners in promoting peace.

Your army will always do what we can to provide assistance to everyone in need as part of our duty in serving the people. The 47IB is one with the Special Action Force, Bohol Provincial Police and other different stakeholders to motivate citizens in lending hands to those who are in fraught of these trying times.
