A fire broke out in a commercial store and destroyed a still undetermined value of products at Dao Integrated Terminal in Tagbilaran City on Tuesday night, May 4, fire authorities said.
It took around 20 minutes before firefighters put out the fire.
Senior Fire Officer Richen Roslinda of the Tagbilaran City Fire Station said the fire started at 9 p. m. at the Limsons Hardware located in front of the Dao Terminal.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to other business establishments in the building.
“We have yet to assess the damage,” Roslinda said.
The cause of the fire, however, remained under investigation.
