A cargo vessel ran aground in the waters off Cabilao Island early Friday morning, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said.
The cargo vessel “MV Trans-Asia 5” reportedly ran aground in the waters off Cabilao Island in Loon town, the Coast Guard added.
A team from the PCG has visited the incident site to inspect for possible oil spill, Seaman Second Class Rodel Astronomo of PCG-Western Bohol said.
Astronomo said investigation is on going to find the actual cause of the incident.
