Boholana beauty queen Pauline Amelinckx returned to Bohol on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021 for a homecoming three months after she won Miss Universe Philippines 2020 3rd runner-up.
Pauline paid a courtesy call to the office of Governor Art Yap during her homecoming.
She turned over the long gown she wore during the pageant designed by Manila-based designer Mikee Andrei.

She also attended Monday’s opening of the 21st Ubi festival at the Old Tagbilaran Airport.
“Homecoming đź’šIt’s so good to be back home in Bohol. The journey still continues but I need to take this time to once again express my gratitude to Bohol and the Bol-anons,” she posted on Facebook.

She said the love and support from her fellow Bol-anons is overwhelming and heartwarming.
” I am forever grateful,” said Pauline who is also Miss Universe Philippines’ Ambassador for Tourism.
” It has been an amazing pleasure and honor to wear the sash of Bohol over my heart. I’m happy to call myself a Boholana and I am proud of our home đź’™ Even more happy and proud to be coming home with a new sash over my heart, ” Pauline said.
Pauline also thanked Gov. Yap and the provincial Government of Bohol, Cong. Edgar Chatto, Mayor William Jao and LGU Tubigon, Bishop Abet Uy, The Dasig Team, Team Paulinckx and Team Empanada.
