What started as a drinking spree turned deadly between two men in Cabilao Island in Loon town.
Charles Carlon Tabaranza, a resident of Sitio Pantudlan in Cabilao Island, sustained stab wounds in his body, a police report showed.
He died on the spot.
Police identified his drinking buddy as Viviano Atimoza Gapas, 36, who was charged with murder on Friday.
Both had an altercation while having drinks at around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, prompting Gapas to attack Tabaranza, police said, citing witnesses.
