Thirty more cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the province of Bohol, a health official announced on Monday, Nov. 9.
Dr. Yul Lopez, spokesperson of the Bohol Inter-Agency Task Force (BIATF), said the 30 new cases were due to local transmission.
There were 10 from Bien Unido town, 6 from Talibon, 2 from Carmen, 1 from Bilar, 1 from Garcia Hernandez, 1 from Loon, 2 from Tubigon, 1 from Dauis, 4 from Sierra Bullones, 1 from Getafe and 1 from Candijay.
Lopez said the 10 cases in Bien Unido were residents of Maomawan Island where a granular lockdown was implemented in Purok 5 to prevent the spread of the virus.
As of Monday (November 9), Bohol has 585 Covid-19 cases, with 110 active cases, 464 recoveries and 11 deaths.
