A Boholano mason construction worker fell from the 33rd floor of a building he was working on Saturday afternoon, November 7, near IT Park in Barangay Apas, Cebu City.

The victim was identified by authorities as Richard Andales, 28, a native of Sierra Bullones, Bohol.

In an interview with Jinaldo Teodoro, safety officer of Cebu City Quick Response Team, Andales was working on the 33rd floor when he was carried by the cement mixer to the platform and eventually fell to death.

Emergency responders from nearby Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation (ERUF) and QRT rushed but could no longer feel the mason’s vital signs.

Andales was said to have suffered severe damage to his body due to the impact and height of the shock.
