The Sagbayan municipal hall was closed to the public on Friday after an employee tested positive of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

It its advisories, the closure started last Wednesday after 62-year-old employee, who was admitted at Tubigon Community Hospital, got infected.

“Duna poy usa ka empleyado sa LGU Sagbayan nagpanuigon ug 62 anyos nga nag.positibo sa Covid-19 ug karon tua pa sa ospital sa Tubigon Community Hospital. Tungod niini, gimando sa atong maabtikon nga amahan sa lungsod sa Sagbayan, Mayor Junjun Suarez lll ang total lockdown sa tibuok municipio for contact tracing until further notice, ” it said.

Moreover, seven out of 45 locals stranded got infected. They were already isolated at the isolation facility.

As of Oct. 15, Bohol recorded 407 confirmed cases of COVID-19. There are 69 active cases, 330 recoveries and 8 deaths.
