Four suspected drug pushers including a village councilor were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Panglao town on Thursday, Sept. 10.
Panglao police identified the suspects as Leo Cinco, 39, a councilor of Poblacion 3 in Tagbilaran City; Ephrain Laig Jr, Rolly Mondragon and Gil Archebal Ungay, 35.
They were arrested at 3:30 p.m. at Purok 2 in Barangay Tawala.
Siezed from the suspects were sachets of suspected shabu worth P 54,400.
The suspects were detained at the Panglao Police Station while waiting for charges to be filed against them.
