A driver lost control of the payloader struck a car along the national highway in Barangay Poblacion in Carmen town on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 9, 2020.
The crash occurred around 4:47 p.m.
The driver of the payloader, which is owned by the local government unit of Carmen, told police that the brake malfunctioned and hit an incoming car, then hit a tree after.
The car, a Toyota Wigo, was destroyed due to the impact.
Luckily, police said, both drivers were unhurt.
