Bohol province has recorded six new patients confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) as announced by Governor Arthur Yap on Sunday night, August 30, 2020.
The confirmation came from the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test run by Bohol Provincial Health Office (BPHO) Laboratory, the containerized molecular laboratory located inside BMCI compound in Tagbilaran City.
There were two patients from Sierra Bullones and one each from the towns of Dimiao, Jagna, and Tubigon and Baclayon.
These were locally stranded individuals (LSI) and an authorized person outside residence (APOR), who have since been isolated at their respective quarantine facilities.
Contact tracing efforts have been conducted to help track down people who may have interacted with the newest Covid-19 patients.
“Mag ampo kita sa atong Ginoo nga unta i-iway kita Niya sa sakit ug maghiusa kita sa pagpanalipod batok sa COVID-19 pinaagi sa pagsunod sa minimum health standards kanunay,” Gov. Yap said.
