Six new cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Bohol were reported Friday by Governor Arthur Yap.
The five new COVID-19 patients were residents of Malingin Island in Bien Unido town and one from Lila town.
They had no travel history. They were not locals stranded nor overseas Filipino workers.
The two were “close contacts” that traced back to the woman who gave birth to twins. The other three patients were product of random testing.
Malingin Island was still on lockdown for third generation contact tracing.
Another OFW from Lila also tested positive of the virus.
Yap appealed for Boholanos to stay at home.
“Pahinumdom alang sa tanan, sundon nato ang minimum health standards kanunay ug magpabilin ta sa atong panimalay kung walay importanteng lakwon sa gawas,” he said.
