Maintaining law and order is not just the only thing some cops are good at. At the Pilar Police Station, the cops here prove that they have green thumbs as well!

They now grow different types of vegetables and flowers in their own garden.

The police force also boasts of their organic way of growing them without using harmful pesticides.

Police started cultivating vegetables and flowers inside the station’s vacant premise.

The garden is currently tended to by every person working at the police station. They tend the garden every morning.

The garden currently produces “pechay” (chinese cabbage), “camote” (sweet potato), spring onion and watermelons.

According to the post on their Facebook page, this is a leisure activity for the police to relax after a busy day at work.
