Four new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) and one death were reported on Wednesday in the province of Bohol.
This brought to 86 the total number of Covid-19 cases in the province with 57 active cases and four (4) deaths.
According to Governor Arthur Yap in his Facebook post, two (2) locally stranded individuals ( LSI) and one (1) authorized person outside of residence (APOR) in Tagbilaran City and one LSI from Loboc town.
Yap said another Covid-19 patient from San Miguel was admitted at San Miguel Hospital last July 20 because of pneumonia. However, the patient died on July 22.
Yap said the case in San Miguel was considered a community transmission since she was not an LSI nor an overseas Filipino worker. She had also no direct contact with a Covid-19 patient.
