Waterspout spotted over Panglao Island

A waterspout was seen near a shoreline in Dauis town in Panglao Island on Wednesday morning, July 8, 2020.

Motorists stopped along the national highway in Dauis town inclusing those in Tagbilaran City to take photos and videos of the waterspout.

The watersprout formed at around 11:45 a. m. before the heavy rains.

However, the waterspouts dissolved at sea two minutes after.

A waterspout is a circling column of water and spray formed by a whirlwind that is over bodies of water.
