Two men were hurt in two separate road accidents recorded on Sunday. 



A man who was tasked to buy fish was hit by an approaching Southern Star bus while he was crossing the highway. 

The man was identified as 41-year-old Roberto Revilliza, a resident of Purok 2 in Barangay Delapaz, Cortes town. 

According to Police Staff Sergeant Gregorio Bayocot Jr. of PNP Cortes, the incident happened at past 7 p.m. on Sunday. 

Revilliza is now at the hospital recuperating from the injuries he got. 



A delivery boy of a pizza branch met an accident while on his way to deliver orders. 

He was identified as 24-year-old Michael Matunhay, a resident of Barangay Danao, Antequera town. 

According to Matunhay, the incident occurred at past 4:30 p.m. on Sunday when a privately-owned multicab suddenly appeared at the corner of the street. 

It was too late to evade the vehicle, thus, the accident occurred. 

Matunhay sustained a fracture on his right leg and bruises on his face. 

He is also at a hospital in the city recuperating.
