An electrician died while several others were injured in different road accidents recorded by the Bohol police this week.
The electrician identified as Ferdinand Bagares, 25, died after he was brought to the hospital following a collision with a private car.
According to Staff Sergeant Dennis Quijada of Dauis Police, this happened at 4:30 p.m. on March 4 (Thursday).
The driver had minor injuries but Bagares was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
DUERO
In Duero, a welder is in critical condition after he met an accident after he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving.
The driver was identified as Jorito Madijanon, 35, and a resident of Barangay San Pedro, Duero town.
The incident, according to his wife Elisa, happened almost 6 o’clock in the evening on Wednesday. Her husband was on his way home and wasn’t wearing a helmet when the accident happened.
BALILIHAN
A back rider of a motorcycle sustained injuries on her face and body after the motorcycle she was riding hit on an electrical post at the side of the road.
The victim identified as Maria Evelyn Mata, 42 of Barangay Nueva Puerza, Carmen, is still in the hospital recuperating from her injuries.
According to Bernie, the motorcycle driver, he lost control and hit the post after he tried to evade the three motorcycles that overtook them.
CORELLA
A driver lost control of his motorcycle and met an accident in Barangay Canangca-an, Corella town on Friday evening.
The driver identified as Rolan Galacio, 48, a resident from B. Inting St. Barangay Poblacion II of Tagbilaran City, said he lost control of the motorcycle after a private car overtook the lane he was traversing.
He only sustained injury on his face and is now in a stable condition.
