Filipino singer Marcelito Pomoy was named the third runner-up of US talent competition ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’ on Tuesday (Philippine time).
Pomoy, whose previous performances drew praise and standing ovations, performed Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson’s version of “Beauty and the Beast” during the show’s grand finals, which aired the previous week.
The singer, known for his signature dual voices, won the 2011 edition of “Pilipinas Got Talent.”
Dance crew V. Unbeatable was hailed the winner of the competition.
