A lovesick man committed suicide by jumping from the 2nd floor of a hotel in Calceta Street, Tagbilaran City on Monday, February 10, after his relationship with a Boholana apparently turned sour.
The 67-year-old man was identified as Landon Aaron Shields.
According to a police report, the man was enraged over what happened that he stormed off to the balcony and leaped to his injury at 1:45 p.m.
The man admitted to having relationship problems after his girlfriend broke up with him.
Due to his injuries, he was brought to Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital for treatment.
