The provincial government of Bohol thru the provincial disaster risk reduction management office (PDRRMO) is accepting donations for the victims of Taal Volcano’s phreatic and magmatic eruptions.

You may drop it off at the PDRRM Office in Camp Bernido.

More than 125,000 residents are now in 300 evacuation centers.

Donors may directly coordinate with the city or municipal disaster risk reduction management office in your area.

In an earlier FB post, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Office Region IV-A encouraged the public to donate goods and items that are immediately needed at the affected areas.

These include face masks; bottled water; hygiene kits with toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, sanitary napkins, and diapers; sleeping mats, blankets, and towels; and food items such as canned goods, biscuits, noodles, and other ready-to-eat meals.

The department said cash donations may be deposited to the DSWD’s dollar and peso savings accounts, both at the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP).

The DSWD reminded the public that it does not accept donations of used clothing for health and hygiene reasons.
