Man freed from jail gets arrested again for drug peddling in Jagna

A 36-year-old man who had been released from prison was again arrested tonight, January 8, 2020, for alleged drug peddling in Jagna town.

Jagna Police said Wilson Dango Lozano, alias Bato, was apprehended by elements of Drug Enforcement Unit of Jagna Police led by Major Joseph Berondo during a buy-bust operation at Purok 5 in Barangay Pangdan at 7:30 p.m.

The arrest came after an undercover policeman bought a sachet of shabu (crystal meth) from Lozano.

Seized from the drug suspect were small sachets of suspected shabu which weighed 0.3 grams worth P5,000.

Lozano, who was convicted for drug charges in 2015, was freed from jail last June 20, 2019.

Lozano is currently detained at Jagna police station while a case for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is being prepared against him

Meanwhile, the Tagbilaran City Police Drugs Enforcement Unit arrested 27-year-old Kenn Anonuevo, alias Tatot, in a buy-bust in Purok 5 in Barangay Manga on Tuesday night, January 7, 2020.

Seized from the suspect were sa sachets of suspected shabu worth P40,800.
