Mark Michael Garcia, a native of Danicop, Antequera town, earned his long-awaited victory after he won the grand finals of Tawag ng Tangahalan (TNT) All-Star Grand Resbak on It’s Showtime on Saturday, December 21, 2019.
Garcia earned a total average score of 54.24% based on the judges’ ratings plus, madlang pipol text, and online votes.
He performed the songs “I Don’t Have The Heart” by James Ingram and a medley of songs by American rock band Chicago.
Jex, meanwhile, achieved 45.76% after singing “Listen” by Beyoncé and a medley of songs by Sarah Geronimo.
Grand Resbakers Sofronio Vasquez III and Julius Cawaling were already eliminated during the grand finals week that started on December 15, 2019.
Garcia was a former vocalist of Center Stage Band. He was also a former grand finalist of TNT Year 3.
Garcia received P300,000, a business franchise from Potato Giant, a talent management contract from ABS-CBN, and a recording contract from TNT Records.
Tawag ng Tanghalan All-Star Grand Resbak is part of It’s Showtime’s year-long tenth anniversary celebration.
