A 17-year-old girl sustained severe burn injury resulting from an accident Bien Unido town.
The victim, identified as Desire Surigao, is a resident of the island-barangay of Sagasa.
This happened at 9 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, when she touched the kerosene lamp leading to her sustaining burn wounds.
She was initially brought to a nearby hospital but was later transfered to Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital in Tagbilaran for further treatment.
