If Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Grey wowed the universe with her “Three Star and the Sun” ear cuff earrings, Miss Universe Philippines Gazini Ganados is donning a pair of “watawat” earrings.
The Boholana beauty queen is getting online attention for her elegant dangling earrings beautifully inspired by the colors of the Philippine flag.

In an IG post, Pinoy designer Kathryn Fanlo unveiled the Philippine bet’s custom-made earrings adorned with the colors and features of the Philippine national flag.
“Wearing our flag with pride,” Fanlo wrote in the caption, sharing the flag-inspired earrings were made specially for Gazini.
“Thank you for helping promote local talent and showing the rest of the world our rich culture,” Fanlo said.
Posting a photo of Gazini modelling the watawat earrings, Fanlo wrote in the caption, “‘Watawat – a symbol of peace, unity, and Filipino pride.”
Gazini has been wearing several of the local designer’s creations to pre-pageant activities, including a lovely neckpiece featuring a girl from the Ata tribe of Mindanao.
It was not disclosed nor announced if Ganados will be wearing those earrings during the coronation night on December 8 (December 9 in the Philippines) in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
