South Korean actor and K-Pop star Cha In Ha, 27, was found dead in his home Tuesday, according to a report by Korean entertainment news website Soompi.
The cause of In Ha’s death is still under investigation, according to the report.
In a statement, In Ha’s agency Fantagio confirmed the unfortunate news. It asked the public to stop spreading rumors and speculation regarding the actor’s death.

The agency said they are ‘filled with grief’, telling fans: “We feel devastated to deliver such heartbreaking and unfortunate news.
“On December 3, actor Cha In Ha left our sides.
“We are truly heartbroken to deliver sad news to everyone who has sent lots of love and support to Cha In Ha until now.
“We are filled with grief at this news that is still hard to believe,” the statement added.
“We earnestly ask for rumours to not be spread and for speculative reports to not be released in order for his family, who is experiencing greater sadness more than anyone due to the sudden sad news, to send him away peacefully.
“As wished by his family, the funeral will be held privately. We express deep mourning for his passing.”
In Ha was a member of actor-boy group Surprise U. He debuted in 2017 through the short film “You, Deep Inside of Me.”
He starred in supporting roles in several television dramas, including “Temperature of Love” (2017), “Are You Human?” (2018), and “Clean with Passion for Now” (2019). He was also part of an ongoing South Korean drama series “Love With Flaws.”
News of his passing came weeks after the recent deaths of K-pop singers Goo Hara and Sulli.
