A 60-year-old man was killed when another motorcycle hit the motorcycle he was driving in Cortes town on early Monday morning.
The victim identified as Lucio Cosmod, a resident of Barangay Loreto in Cortes town was selling fish when the incident happened at around 6:45 a.m. in Barangay Poblacion, Bililihan town.
According to Cosmod’s wife Lucia, the driver of the other motorcycle was a identified as a policeman from Catigbian who was in a hurry on his way to work.
The victim was immediately brought to a hospital due to the serious injuries he sustained.
However, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
