A drug suspect who surrendered under the police Oplan Tokhang was caught in a drug raid operation conducted in Barangay Cantubod in Danao town, on Sunday.
At 7:30 a.m. of September 15, 2019, Jembe Orapa, 23, was found by members of the Danao Police Station with shabu that has an estimated value of P1,904.
Police was armed with a search warrant issued by presiding Judge Azucena Macalolot Credo, Regional Trial Court Branch 52 in Talibon for violation of R. A. 9165.
Orapa, an Oplan Tokhang surrenderee, is on the police drug watchlist.
He denied that he owns the illegal drugs.
But he stopped talking when police told him that he has been under surveillance for quite some time.
The suspect will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
