In a bid to rid Venancio P. Inting Avenue in Barangay Mansasa in Tagbilaran City, Bohol of road accidents, the National Food Authority (NFA)-Bohol enlisted Wednesday the help of a Catholic priest in blessing accident-prone areas of the highway.
Rev. Fr. Victor Bompat together with NFA-Bohol manager Maria Fe Evasco and OIC Bobot Alojado Jr. led the employees of NFA in blessing the accident-prone road.

They offered a solemn prayer to those who perished in three-way vehicular collision last June 6 fronting the NFA Bohol provincial office. Another motorcycle accident happened this week.
“We say a prayer to ask God to keep drivers and passengers safe on the roads,” said an employee.
The village tanods said that all passenger vehicles and above six-wheeler trucks are now prohibited from passing the barangay road between the NFA office and Lantaw restaurant to avoid similar vehicular accidents in the area.
